Sila House in Amatciems — house design and implementation

Sila House is a private house project by Studija Amatciems in Amatciems. Its design combines restrained architecture with a forest and water landscape. Studija Amatciems carries out house design and implementation, helping to create a unified solution from the house idea to its implementation.

Architecture in connection with nature

The visual character of the silo house is formed by dark wood decoration, simple building volumes and extensive glazing. The tone of the facade fits into the landscape of pine and birch trees, while the large glazed planes open up views of the surroundings. Terraces and overhangs create a transition between indoor and outdoor spaces.
